Job summary

Civitas Senior Living is seeking a Senior Living Activity Assistant (PRN) in Kilgore, TX. The role focuses on engaging residents through daily activities and coordinating transportation as needed. You will foster community bonds and support a compassionate living environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of related experience; a psychology or kinesiology degree is preferred but not mandatory. A valid driver’s license and comfort with basic computer tasks are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Host daily activities and interactive sessions.
• Transport residents using the community vehicle.
• Educate and mentor team on activity opportunities.
• Greet residents upon move-in to build community.
• Plan events; decorate common areas for celebrations.
• Record attendance and photos of activities.
• Ensure compliance with residents' rights regulations.
• Attend training and pursue professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Senior Living Activity Assistant Responsibilities

• Active Engagement: Host daily activities and interactive sessions for residents.
• Safe Transportation: Use the community vehicle to transport residents as needed.
• Team Development: Educates, trains, and encourages team members on personalized activity opportunities.
• Warm Welcome: Meet and greet each resident upon move-in to foster community bonding.
• Event Planning: Decorate common areas for special events and holidays.
• Activity Documentation: Take attendance and photographs of daily activities, creating lasting memories.
• Compliance Mastery: Ensure understanding and adherence to all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Professional Development: Attend training sessions and engage in continuous learning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
