Excel Hotel Group in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Sales team in achieving monthly and annual revenue goals, with a primary focus on bridal and wedding room blocks. The role also serves as Group Coordinator, managing contracts to arrival and supporting both hotels, including the Fairfield Inn & Suites Carlsbad.

The position involves building partnerships, managing group inventory, and helping introduce the brand to the Carlsbad market, with administrative CRM duties

Qualifications

• 1+ year hotel, hospitality or sales experience.
• Experience with group room blocks, reservations systems or sales coordination.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contact for wedding and bridal room blocks from lead to booking.
• Develop relationships with local venues and vendors to generate group business.
• Manage group room blocks, monitor cutoffs, pick-up and inventory.
• Coordinate wedding and group room blocks to maximize revenue.
• Support Sales team with reports, contracts and presentations.
• Update CRM daily and generate required reports.
• Track sales activity and coordinate internal meetings.
• Qualify new prospects with insights for Sales Leaders.
• Maintain client relationships and accurate contact details.
• Assist with sales strategies and coordination across properties.
