Job summary

The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce in Kitty Hawk is seeking a Hotel Group Sales Coordinator to support wedding sales coordination and tour & travel account work. This role provides administrative structure, ensures seamless communication between clients and internal departments, and assists in driving revenue through accurate documentation, lead management, and high-touch client service.

This is a full-time, year round position. Weekends and evenings are required.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, social and self-driven personality with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be familiar with MS Office and computer savvy.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and work under pressure.
• Very detailed, accurate, and meticulous in updating client information.
• Must understand the property, selling benefits and amenities to clients.
• Customize the client’s needs while maximizing revenue.
• Coordinate events from start to finish ensuring a seamless client experience.
• Contact clients after bookings to ensure satisfaction and solicit repeat business.
• Ensure calls are answered promptly with proper greetings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating events from beginning to end ensuring a seamless, perfect client experience.
• Assist DOS – filing, data entry, and preparing BEO’s for each week to be distributed to each department, etc.
• Marketing – managing social media pages and event websites.
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge of competitors.
