Job summary

The City of Houston’s Office of Public Safety and Homeland Security is seeking a Crisis Information System (WebEOC) Coordinator to maintain and enhance the region’s crisis information system in partnership with the Crisis Information System Administrator.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, training and governance tasks, on-call support, regional coordination, and ensuring accessibility standards; candidates should have a related bachelor's degree and at least three years of administrative

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a field directly related to the type of work being performed.
• Three years of professional administrative, financial or analytical experience related to the type of work being performed are required.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and compliance with city driving policy is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and build the City’s crisis information system (WebEOC) in partnership with the Crisis Information System Administrator.
• Troubleshoot errors, document problems and resolutions, and escalate to vendor as needed.
• Develop and maintain technology policies, governance, procedures and plans.
• Provide training, updates and governance for WebEOC users and sub-administrators.
• Participate in rotating on-call duty, regional workgroups, and cross-agency information sharing.
