Job summary

KnownHost is seeking a dedicated customer support operator to join our 24/7 helpdesk. You will help ensure exceptional service by resolving hosting issues, handling email delivery problems, and troubleshooting cPanel/WHM, Plesk, or DirectAdmin on Linux servers.

Excellent written English and the ability to multitask under pressure are essential. Some involvement with live chat or phone support may occur, along with working knowledge of WordPress, Drupal, and MySQL.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to resolve issues under pressure.
• Excellent written English and communication skills.
• Familiar with Linux shell (bash), web hosting protocols, and common apps.
• Experience with live chat/phone support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 helpdesk support to customers via email, live chat, and phone as needed.
• Troubleshoot email delivery, DNS, FTP, SSL, Apache, and related hosting issues.
• Assist with cPanel/WHM, Plesk, or DirectAdmin based tasks and problems.
• Coordinate with customers to gather complete error messages and context.
