Job summary

Cleveland State University – Engaged Learning is seeking a talented web professional responsible for the design, development, layout and coding at the University level. You will contribute to CSU web and e-initiative projects to inform, recruit, market and educate customers in line with CSU strategies.

The role provides guidance on technical and graphical aspects, interacting with internal and external customers with strong interpersonal skills, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Computer or Information Science or related fields.
• Two years of experience developing and maintaining medium- to large-scale websites, including server interaction via SSH and SFTP.
• Experience working with hosting-platform command-line tools for workflow automation and environment administration.
• Related work experience may be substituted for education; one year of related work experience can substitute for one year of education.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, layout and code at the University level for all college and department websites.
• Participate in CSU web and e-initiative projects to inform, recruit, market and educate customers.
• Provide guidance and expertise including technical and graphical aspects.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
