Job summary

Apple FCU is seeking a Web Content Strategist to own content across the site in Umbraco CMS, ensuring clarity, brand alignment, and strong SEO/AEO performance. You’ll work with Compliance and Marketing to deliver accurate, engaging, and compliant content for member-focused products.

The role blends financial marketing, content strategy, and technical SEO, reporting to Marketing leadership. This is a hybrid role based in Fairfax, VA, with collaboration across Compliance and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, digital media or related field.
• 3+ years of web content writing, digital content strategy, or content marketing experience (financial services preferred).
• Hands-on experience with an CMS platform (Umbraco strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO, metadata, internal linking, and keyword research.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish web content in Umbraco CMS across product pages, rate pages, articles, and landing pages.
• Maintain a content calendar coordinated with Marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Coordinate content reviews with department heads to align with product objectives and regulatory disclosures.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of product, rate, and disclosure content before publishing.
