Job summary

State Farm seeks a Weather and Catastrophe Claims Services (WCCS) Claim Specialist to handle homeowners, commercial and large loss claims from natural disasters. You will explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide insureds through the claims process with Remarkable service.

Deployable positions require extensive travel across the U.S. and residency in listed states; relocation may be required at own expense.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and decision-making skills.
• Physical agility for inspection of roofs and structures; able to lift and maneuver.
• May require Rope and Harness Safety Training (RAST).
• Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Meet with insureds to explain coverage and guide them through the claims process.
• Estimate damages and provide Remarkable service for homeowners, commercial, and large loss claims.
• Handle weather-related and catastrophe claims; may work Fire claims as needed.
• Coordinate deployments and travel across U.S. regions, including overnight obligations.
