Job summary

State Farm is hiring a Weather and Catastrophe Claims Services (WCCS) Claim Specialist to handle homeowners, commercial, and large loss claims from weather events. This role involves extensive travel across the U.S. and may include Fire claims in certain territories.

You will be the first contact for insureds, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide them through the claims process while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and decision-making skills are essential.
• Physical agility for climbing, bending, and working on roofs or structures during inspections.
• Ability to complete Rope and Harness Safety Training (RAST) is required.
• You may be required to obtain a Property and Casualty Adjuster's License where required.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with insureds to explain coverage and estimate damages.
• Assist policyholders through the claims process delivering remarkable service.
• Handle homeowners, commercial, and large loss claims from natural disasters or weather events.
• Support deployable assignments with travel across the U.S. and potentially onsite or virtual workloads.
