Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Weather and Catastrophe Claims Services (WCCS) Claim Specialist to handle homeowners, commercial and large loss claims from natural disasters and weather events. You will be the first contact, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide insureds through the claims process with remarkable service.

Deployable across the U.S. with extensive travel; candidates must reside in one of the listed states and be willing to relocate at own expense.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and decision-making skills.
• Physical agility for inspecting roofs and handling equipment safely.
• Ability to complete Rope and Harness Safety Training (RAST).
• You may be required to obtain a Property and Casualty Adjuster's License where required.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with insureds, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide them through the claims process with Remarkable service.
• Handle homeowners, commercial and large loss claims from natural disasters and weather-related events; may work Fire claims as needed.
• Deployable positions with extensive travel throughout the U.S.
