Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. seeks an ASSURE Patient Specialist to perform patient fittings for wearables in Morristown, NJ. The role involves hands-on patient training, travel to hospitals and homes, and ensuring accurate garment sizing and paperwork flow.

The APS will be trained and certified, work as a contractor, and support the sales organization with flexible hours, including weekends. It is a paid per fitting position with confidentiality requirements and inventory management

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver)
• Clinical or engineering background such as nurses, cardiac device sales reps, clinical engineers or similar
• Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable)
• Completion of background check (Florida and Ohio must complete level 2)
• Ability to pay for vendor credentialing during a 90-day probation
• Experience in patient and/or clinician education
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Credentialing for hospital system entry including HIPAA/Bloodborne Pathogens/Electrical/Fire Safety courses

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator as an ASSURE Patient Specialist
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients
• Coordinate with prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services
• Possibly work daytime, evening, and weekend hours
• Travel to hospitals, patients' homes and healthcare facilities for fittings
• Measure patient to determine garment size
• Transmit essential paperwork for garment services
• Manage inventory of Assure system kits and garments
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
