Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) in Hackensack, NJ to support the sales organization by coordinating patient fittings for the ASSURE wearable defibrillator.

The APS acts as the local patient care representative, travels to hospitals and patients’ homes, trains patients, and coordinates with prescribers, caregivers and the Kestra team. This paid per fitting position requires clinical or engineering background, strong communication, and strict

Qualifications

1 year in paid patient care experience (not as a family care giver).
Clinical or engineering background as listed in requirements.
Willingness to travel to hospitals, patients’ homes and other facilities.
Background check and drug screening must be passed.

Responsibilities

Fit and train local patients with the ASSURE wearable defibrillator as assigned.
Provide instruction and instill confidence in ASSURE patients.
Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
Travel to hospitals and patient homes to provide fittings.
Measure patient to determine garment size.
Review and transmit essential paperwork for garments and services.
Manage inventory of kits, garments and equipment used in fittings.
Adhere to confidentiality pledge and hospital policies.
