Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking a contract-based Patient Specialist to fit and train patients for the Assure wearable defibrillator.

The role requires traveling to hospitals and patients’ homes to perform fittings and provide clinical instruction with confidence and compassion. The position involves measuring garment sizes, managing inventory, and handling required documentation while adhering to privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

1 year in paid patient care experience.
Clinical or engineering background may include nurses, cardiac device sales reps, clinical engineers, catheterization lab technicians, physician assistants, or ECG technicians.
Background check completion; Level 2 screening in Florida and Ohio.
Ability to pay for vendor credentialing during a 90-day probation.
Experience in patient and/or clinician education.

Responsibilities

Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator via assignments from corporate HQ.
Provide instruction and build confidence with Assure patients.
Travel to hospitals and patients' homes to provide fitting services.
Measure patient to determine garment size.
Manage inventory of Assure system kits and garments.
Coordinate required paperwork for garment and services.
