Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our on-site team at King George, VA, supporting TTWCS software testing across configurations for surface, subsurface, and FMS deployments.

The role requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance and US citizenship, with opportunities to travel. You will conduct diverse testing, document results, troubleshoot hardware, and develop procedures while collaborating with government personnel.

Qualifications

• Navy operational experience as FC/FT in TTWCS operations is preferred.
• Experience with CBT&E methodologies and test frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing tools and practices.
• Experience using Jira to document and track CRs/PRs and tasks.
• Ability to assign lab resources and schedules to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in various configurations and across builds in a lab setting.
• Document lab logs and troubleshoot lab hardware, simulators, and networks.
• Perform data analysis of test output and develop data extraction and reduction elements for verification.
• Create and track change requests and problem reports; verify software fixes.
• Develop new test procedures and update existing ones to verify requirements and system functionality.
• Conduct peer reviews of test procedures and maintain Test Verification Matrices.
• Generate test plans and test reports; communicate event summaries and defend data analyses.
• Coordinate with management on test initiatives and issues.
