Job summary

SimVentions, a leading defense contractor, seeks a Weapon System Test Engineer to join the team in Dahlgren with on-site work at King George, VA, to test TTWCS software across configurations. The role involves lab testing, data analysis, test development, and collaboration with government personnel.

Active Secret Clearance required; travel optional. Must hold a STEM degree or have military ops experience as TTWCS Operator/Maintainer; Navy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of science from an accredited university majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field of study or military operational experience as a Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System Operator and Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in various configurations and across multiple builds in a lab setting.
• Document lab logs; modify and troubleshoot lab hardware, simulators, and network configurations.
• Perform data analysis of test output and develop data extraction/reduction elements for verification.
• Create/change requests (CRs/PRs) and verify software fixes.
• Develop new test procedures and maintain TVMs; generate test plans and reports.
