Job summary

City National Bank is seeking an Investment Operations Securities Specialist to support the Wealth Management Operations and Servicing team. The role liaises between the bank and SEI Private Trust Company/National Financial Services and handles new accounts and account maintenance with diligence.

The position requires at least 1 year in financial services and MS Office proficiency. It offers comprehensive benefits and a path for growth within Wealth Management Operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a financial services organization.
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in investment management or trust environment helpful.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience helpful.
• Experience in financial services operations preferred.
• Ability to interpret documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to handle a large volume of work while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison with SEI Private Trust Company / National Financial Services; resolves problems and discrepancies related to new accounts and account updates
• Reviewing system records and client agreements to ensure company standards and client eligibility are met
• Assigns Trust account numbers and for archiving records in accordance with Retention Guidelines
• Sorts and delivers incoming mail and Trust checks to designated areas of Wealth Management Operations/Servicing
• Sorts and scans all applicable documentation into Filenet for Wealth Management Operations/Servicing, RBC Rochdale and RBC Securities
• Able to verify accuracy, manage risk, resolve issues using multiple resources, account records and online systems
• Provides back-up for other numerous functions when required to.
