Job summary

City National Bank is seeking an Investment Operations Specialist Lead to support the Trust Operations team and act as a liaison with SEI Private Trust Company. You will oversee transactions such as Corporate Actions, mutual fund trades, and asset transfers, guiding colleagues and ensuring smooth settlements and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of securities experience, preferably in trust securities.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with procedures, practices and regulations governing trust-securities operations.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison with SEI Private Trust Company and other internal departments for review of transactions.
• Coordinate settlement of securities with Account Officers, brokers and Investment Managers; resolve failed trades.
• Prepare trust accounting entries reflecting trade activity on client statements and process wire transfers.
• Maintain negotiability of assets and prepare Securities Transmittal Letters for physical assets.
• Provide consultative support and act as a resource for internal and external business partners.
• Process investment transactions and reconcile account information.
• Coordinate information and trade instructions among trade desks and operational areas.
• Review system records and client agreements to ensure standards and client eligibility.
• Verify accuracy, manage risk, resolve issues using multiple resources and account records.
• Provide back-up for numerous functions as needed.
