Job summary

Soltis Investment Advisors, a nationwide, fee-only RIA, seeks a Wealth Management Advisor to establish and grow its presence in Tampa Bay. You will lead client development, deliver tailored financial plans, and collaborate on investment portfolios for high-net-worth clients.

Responsibilities include hosting events, building local referrals, and mentoring a small local team as you expand in the Florida market. Role requires travel and Series 65.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Series 65 registration.
• 2–3 years in the financial services industry.
• Proven ability to build client relationships, identify needs, and close business.
• Resilience and self-direction, with the drive to meet and exceed a growth target.
• Established in the local market, with community ties and professional relationships.
• Willingness to travel, onboarding at corporate offices in St. George, Utah, and periodic return visits.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and effective presentation skills.
• Attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute growth strategies in your market, funded by the firm with training.
• Convert opportunities into funded, lasting client relationships.
• Complete Fidelity Wealth Advisor Solutions certification and liaise with Fidelity branches.
• Host at least six client/prospect events yearly with firm-provided support.
• Maintain client retention through responsive service and regular reviews.
• Guide clients through complex financial planning needs.
• Collaborate to develop customized investment portfolios including stocks, bonds, ETFs, and alternatives.
• Develop local centers of influence with accountants, attorneys and other referrals.
• Lead a local team (Analyst + Client Relationship Manager) and mentor the Analyst.
