Job summary

Bank of America’s Merrill Advisor Development Program seeks a Financial Advisor trainee to build relationships with high-net-worth clients, identify needs, and deliver comprehensive recommendations aligned with client goals. You will be mentored by Merrill Advisor Teams to drive portfolio growth and gain exposure to core banking and investment partners.

The role involves developing a book of business, sourcing clients, and collaborating across teams to meet performance targets while pursuing

Qualifications

Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (63/65 in lieu of 66).
Minimum of one year experience in financial services or sales with targets.
One year experience in investments with knowledge of products and services.
Proven ability to engage, influence, collaborate and build trust.

Responsibilities

Developing a book of business to meet and exceed performance hurdles.
Prioritize sourcing clients, leverage referrals, assess needs, refer to specialists, and deliver customized solutions.
Recommend investments aligned with client objectives, time horizon, risk and preferences.
Balance growth, referrals, follow-up, prospecting, compliance, and personal development.
Organize resources to run a productive practice and collaborate with specialists as needed.
Complete mandated training, assessments, and continuing education requirements.
Document client interactions in Salesforce accurately.
