Job summary

Macy's Inc. is seeking a Wave Planner for our Fulfillment Center. You will coordinate order releases and flow, supporting outbound processing to ensure on-time delivery to stores and customers.

The role requires strong communication, basic WM/WMS familiarity, and the ability to work with teams in a fast-paced environment. Regular attendance and a proactive approach to process improvements are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) are needed.
• Proficient with computers/handheld devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Expertly uses WM wave planning software to manage outbound workflow.
• Ensure sufficient work for all outbound areas to meet Ship On Time commitments.
• Set priorities and provide updates to area managers on progress.
• Investigate cancelled pick tickets with Inventory Control to maintain stock accuracy.
• Ensure cartons are processed to Shipped status at end of each day.
• Identify training opportunities in outbound processes.
• Maintain open communication and conduct daily team meetings.
• Encourage continuous improvement and team participation.
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
