Job summary

Paxon is seeking a Wave Planner to optimize distribution within the FC using WMS, coordinating workload across the facility, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The role emphasizes prioritization, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in a warehouse or distribution setting, with strong PC skills and familiarity with RF scanners. This onsite position offers opportunities for advancement within a global logistics network.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Wave planning/expediting experience preferred.
• Initiative and willingness to take on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Distribute work across the labor pool using WMS to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain priorities and expeditor communications with outbound supervision.
• Evaluate issues and improve wave planning processes.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced DC environment.
• Investigate workflow issues and coordinate with DC operations.
• Communicate issues and directions to associates clearly.
• Assess and improve work processes for efficiency.
• Perform all duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
