Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Wave Planner to schedule and coordinate efficient packaging and loading of customer inventory for distribution. The role releases orders to the warehouse floor for packing and shipment, ensuring timely dispatch and accurate inventory control.

The position requires at least a high school education, six months in a warehouse setting, and proficiency with MS Office. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Six months in a warehouse or distribution environment minimum.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and data entry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and prioritize picking documentation into waves to meet shipment goals.
• Distribute production, work, and shipment schedules to departments.
• Prioritize work orders based on inventory levels and orders.
• Open/close trailer loads in warehouse systems to ensure accurate delivery.
• Dispatch shipments to carriers and update warehouse systems.
• Research and resolve shipment errors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
