Job summary

Ferguson in Columbus, OH is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. You will prepare and manage detailed pricing proposals, support new sales opportunities, and provide product and technical information to outside sales reps to drive revenue across the utility market.

Responsibilities include handling the full Order-to-Invoice cycle, maintaining customer documentation, liaising between customers and internal teams, ensuring on-time order fulfillment and compliance with HSE

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a sales support or customer service role.
• Waterworks or Construction exposure is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage pricing proposals and quotations for projects.
• Support new sales opportunities by monitoring bids and researching projects.
• Provide product/technical information to outside sales reps to drive revenue.
• Develop and maintain customer documentation with product details.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams for timely orders.
• Oversee the full Order-to-Invoice cycle and ensure quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
• This role involves training and work in the warehouse, yard and sales counter.
