Job summary

City of Atlanta seeks a Watershed Plan Reviewer II to review construction plans for compliance with Federal, State, City and AWWA codes. The role supports plan reviews and field activities within the Watershed Management Department, requiring strong civil engineering expertise and project coordination.

The position reports to the Watershed Plan Review Coordinator and involves cross-department collaboration, cost estimation, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the review process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Five (5) years of Construction or Project Management related experience.
• Must have knowledge of Federal and State regulations.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, drawings, studies and reports for compliance with codes and regulations.
• Coordinate document management and plan review workflow.
• Explain procedures to customers to facilitate permits and payments.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with other divisions and agencies.
• Create accurate cost estimates; perform quality control reviews.
