Job summary

Typhoon Texas Austin Waterpark seeks a Director of Operations to lead all park operations, safety, training and vendor partnerships under the GM. You’ll own the operations budget, labor plan and KPI targets, while developing the Operations Manager and ensuring guest experience excellence.

You will oversee compliance with applicable codes, manage audits with Ellis & Associates, and drive continuous improvement across park services, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in waterpark, amusement park, or related guest-service operations.
• 2+ years managing supervisors or managers.
• Experience developing and managing operating budgets and labor plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and partner with park leadership to meet KPI targets and guest experience goals.
• Own the operations budget and labor plan; manage vendor agreements and costs.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate managers; build succession plans and future leaders.
