Job summary

Pyek Group oversees the Director of Operations role at Typhoon Texas Austin Waterpark. You will drive all park operations, safety, training, and vendor partnerships to deliver guest experiences aligned with company goals and KPI targets.

You will own the department budget and labor plan, develop the Operations Manager, and ensure daily park readiness, safety audits, and regulatory compliance across all departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of waterpark, amusement park, or guest-service ops experience; 2+ years managing supervisors or managers.
• Experience developing and managing operating budgets and labor plans.
• Ability to work in warm/humid outdoor settings.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and work irregular hours.
• Able to obtain OSHA-10, CPO/AFO, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational execution and vendor partnerships for Typhoon Texas Austin Waterpark.
• Own the operations budget and labor plan; manage the Operations Manager.
• Recruit, train, coach, and discipline staff in partnership with HR.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards are exceeded.
• Set KPI targets and review guest satisfaction and safety audits with leadership.
