Hypertherm Associates seeks a Field Service Technician to join our Waterjet team. You will travel to customer sites for installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site training for OMAX Waterjet equipment.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly. You will support customers with preventative maintenance, on-site repairs, and field feedback.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in Field Technical Service or related field.
• 2+ years with Cutting Solutions product experience.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs and crawl/climb into machines.
• Fluency in English; valid driver’s license in all 50 states.

Responsabilités

• Install and set up equipment at customer sites, including testing and training.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on-site and remotely.
• Maintain detailed digital service records with photos and attachments.
• Support sales as a technical expert during demonstrations and pre-sales visits.
