Job summary

Flow International Corp (Flow) seeks a Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, and service Flow’s Waterjet, CNC Laser, and Press Brake systems at customer sites. The role requires frequent travel and the ability to provide on-site and remote support, plus customer training on operation and preventive maintenance.

Ideal candidates bring strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic skills, a valid driver’s license and passport, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; AA degree preferred in Electronics, Robotics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Waterjet, CNC Laser, or Press Brake.
• Hands-on experience with industrial machinery installation or field service.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Waterjet, CNC Laser and Press Brake systems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Train customers in machine operation, preventive maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software issues.
• Complete detailed service documentation and reports.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and assist with parts identification.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and holiday support.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
