Job summary

Flow International Corp (Flow) is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and support Flow’s Waterjet, CNC Laser, and Press Brake machinery. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, a customer-first mindset, and frequent travel.

You will troubleshoot diverse technical issues, train customers, and provide on-site and remote support to ensure optimal machine performance. A valid driver’s license and passport are required, with overtime and occasional weekends

Qualifications

• Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical problems using sound judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Concur, and Kronos.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong initiative, a positive attitude, and a dependable work ethic.
• Ability to organize work, manage time effectively, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Waterjet, CNC Laser and Press Brake systems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Train customers in machine operation, preventive maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software issues.
• Complete detailed service documentation and reports.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and assist with parts identification.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and holiday support.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
