Job summary

The Village of Wellington is seeking a skilled Water/Wastewater Plant Maintenance technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair treatment plants, well sites, and related facilities in Wellington, FL. You will work under general supervision with independent judgment to apply policies and procedures.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least four years of apprentice-level or higher mechanical/electrical maintenance experience; CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with four or more years in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting pumps, control systems, and plant equipment preferred.
• Must be able to read schematics and perform preventive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair water and wastewater plant equipment.
• Perform diagnostics on electrical control systems and motors.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inspections.
