Job summary

Alignment Engine Inc. seeks a skilled water chemistry technician to run the campus cooling systems. You will sample, test, treat, and document water chemistry to support reliable industrial operations at the Chillicothe campus.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial plant or utility settings, read P&IDs, and are comfortable in 24/7 mission-critical environments. On-site training is provided, with strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Alignment Engine Inc. (“Alignment”) operates the high-performance computing and NeuralSync electronics-manufacturing operations at the Chillicothe Advanced Industrial Campus - a multi-employer industrial site in Chillicothe, Ohio, where advanced manufacturing and digital infrastructure operate side by side as the campus re-industrializes. We hire across the disciplines required to run our operations, on a rolling basis as capacity ramps.

The role.

Run the water chemistry program for the campus cooling systems: sampling, testing, treatment, and documentation.

What you’ll do:

• Ohio EPA operator certification (or ability to obtain) valued
• Perform routine sampling and water quality testing
• Maintain glycol loop chemistry and inhibitor programs
• Monitor scaling/corrosion indicators and upscale deviations
• Manage treatment consumables and records
• Support environmental compliance documentation

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years in industrial plant, manufacturing, critical facilities, military, or utility operations (data center experience a plus, not required)
• Ability to read one-line diagrams, P&IDs, or equipment drawings relevant to the discipline
• Comfortable with 24/7 mission-critical environments and structured change control (MOP/SOP/EOP)
• High school diploma or GED; trade school, apprenticeship, or military training strongly valued

Training provided - experience from industrial, manufacturing, military, or utility settings translates directly.

Pay range:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year
