Job summary

Alignment Engine Inc. in Chillicothe, Ohio is seeking a maintenance professional to operate and maintain liquid cooling systems and central energy plant equipment supporting AI compute halls.

You will perform PM, rounds, respond to alarms, log CMMS records, and assist commissioning and vendor oversight. The role requires 3+ years in industrial/manufacturing or similar, ability to read diagrams, and willingness to work in 24/7 mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial plant, manufacturing, critical facilities, military, or utility operations.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams, P&IDs, or equipment drawings relevant to the discipline.
• Comfortable with 24/7 mission-critical environments and structured change control (MOP/SOP/EOP).

Alignment Engine Inc. (“Alignment”) operates the high-performance computing and NeuralSync electronics-manufacturing operations at the Chillicothe Advanced Industrial Campus — a multi-employer industrial site in Chillicothe, Ohio, where advanced manufacturing and digital infrastructure operate side by side as the campus re-industrializes. We hire across the disciplines required to run our operations, on a rolling basis as capacity ramps.

The role. Operate and maintain liquid cooling systems: pumps, heat exchangers, chillers, and distribution loops serving AI compute halls.

What you’ll do:

• Perform PM, corrective maintenance, and rounds on mechanical systems
• Operate cooling loops and central energy plant equipment
• Respond to alarms and support leak/incident response
• Maintain accurate logs and CMMS records
• Support commissioning and vendor work oversight

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years in industrial plant, manufacturing, critical facilities, military, or utility operations (data center experience a plus, not required)
• Ability to read one-line diagrams, P&IDs, or equipment drawings relevant to the discipline
• Comfortable with 24/7 mission-critical environments and structured change control (MOP/SOP/EOP)
• High school diploma or GED; trade school, apprenticeship, or military training strongly valued

Training provided — experience from industrial, manufacturing, military, or utility settings translates directly.

Pay range: $72,000 – $95,000 per year
