Job summary

Alignment Engine Inc. in Chillicothe, OH is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager — Mechanical to own the campus mechanical plant, including liquid cooling loops, chillers, heat exchangers, pumps, and water systems.

You will lead mechanical technicians and plant operators, oversee water chemistry and treatment, support commissioning of cooling capacity phases, and manage mechanical service vendors and OEM relationships.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in data center, industrial, or mission-critical operations.
• Track record building and leading teams through commissioning and early operations.
• Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards for the discipline.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Critical Facilities Manager — Mechanical

Alignment Engine Inc. (“Alignment”) operates the high-performance computing and NeuralSync electronics-manufacturing operations at the Chillicothe Advanced Industrial Campus — a multi-employer industrial site in Chillicothe, Ohio, where advanced manufacturing and digital infrastructure operate side by side as the campus re-industrializes. We hire across the disciplines required to run our operations, on a rolling basis as capacity ramps.

The role. Own the mechanical plant — liquid cooling loops, chillers, heat exchangers, pumps, and water systems — for the campus.

What you’ll do:

• Own mechanical maintenance programs and plant operations

• Support commissioning of cooling capacity phases
• Manage mechanical service vendors and OEM relationships

What you’ll bring:

Pay range: $125,000 – $150,000 per year
