Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a Waterworks Process Solutions Engineered Sales Representative to support Michigan's municipal and industrial water markets. You will partner with engineers, municipalities, contractors, and manufacturers to advance water and wastewater projects from design through completion.

The role requires up to 50% travel, with initial ramp-up in Howell, MI, and offers an annual bonus eligible package with a total compensation range of $98,800–$158,100.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in water/wastewater treatment or related sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; construction management or related degrees considered.
• EIT or PE license preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of pumps, valves, process equipment, or wastewater systems.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management.
• Team oriented with a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and partners to support projects from early engagement through delivery.
• Contribute to sales strategies, technical presentations, and complex sales pursuits.
• Assist engineers with specification recommendations and early-stage design.
• Analyze territory activity and provide market insights to management.
• Maintain CRM documentation and represent Ferguson at events.
