Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Water & Wastewater Aftermarket & Plant Solutions Specialist (MRO Sales) in Michigan. You will develop and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors and end-users from project inception to installation and beyond.

This remote role requires 50% travel within the territory, with an initial training period at Howell, MI. A BS/AS degree and 5+ years in water/wastewater sales or related experience are preferred; a performance-based bonus is included.

Qualifications

5+ years of water and wastewater industry experience, plus 5+ years in technical sales.
Wastewater or drinking water licenses preferred.
BS/AS degree or technical training; related certifications are a plus.
Experience with pumps and pumping systems is preferred.
Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, and end-users within Michigan territory.
Assess applications, recommend products, and assist in design and scope development.
Estimate, bid, and coordinate startup and commissioning oversight.
Analyze competition, set sales strategy, and communicate plan to management.
Travel with principal manufacturers to identify opportunities and provide technical solutions.
