Baxter & Woodman, a leader in technology and innovation, seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Manager for our Houston, TX office. You will manage and design water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure while growing business with existing clients.

Potential for advancement to lead technical teams and departments. Responsibilities include scopes, budgets, schedules, design quality, and client coordination.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in water or wastewater plant and infrastructure design.
• Operational knowledge of local regulations (TCEQ, City of Houston, Harris County, Montgomery County).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills; ability to work in a team.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project scopes, budgets, and schedules for timely delivery.
• Ensure all design work and reports comply with quality objectives and codes.
• Make independent decisions and provide engineering solutions.
• Coordinate efforts with peers and management.
• Lead single and multi-disciplinary projects with technical guidance.
• Prepare and review water and wastewater treatment plant designs and infrastructure designs.
• Represent the company in client and agency meetings to plan and coordinate work.
