Job summary

Baxter & Woodman is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager for our Houston, TX office. You will manage and design water and wastewater facilities, while developing business with existing clients and leading technical teams.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited engineering degree and a Texas PE or reciprocity plan, with 6+ years in water/wastewater design and strong regulatory knowledge. Travel may be required as projects span the region.

Qualifications

ABET accredited BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer in Texas or eligible via reciprocity.
Minimum 6 years of water/wastewater plant and infrastructure design experience.
Familiar with local/state/federal regulatory requirements (TCEQ, Houston, Harris County, Montgomery County).
Strong technical writing, verbal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and monitor project scopes, budgets, and schedules for economical, timely delivery.
Lead water and wastewater facility and infrastructure design efforts.
Represent Baxter & Woodman in client and agency meetings and coordinate with teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to project team members on multi-disciplinary projects.
Ensure compliance with design specifications and applicable regulations.
