Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for water/wastewater infrastructure projects in the Richmond, VA area. You will lead design teams, mentor staff, and drive client relationships while delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

You will collaborate across disciplines, develop proposals, and present to clients and regulators. A PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months is required; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 15+ years in project management, water/wastewater preferred.
• Licensed PE or ability to obtain within 6 months; PMP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams of professionals and technicians.
• Mentor staff and build high-performing project teams.
• Develop proposals and participate in client meetings for business development.
• Manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule with senior engineers.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines for design and construction tasks.
• Ensure quality reviews and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Present to clients, regulators, and stakeholders; manage project delivery.
