Job summary

Stantec's Water Sector in Tampa, Florida is looking for a highly motivated Civil or Environmental Engineering Project Manager with water and wastewater conveyance and treatment design, as well as construction experience to join our team.

You will lead and mentor design professionals and QA staff, oversee multiple projects, interact with clients and internal leadership on scope, schedule, and budget, and prepare engineering reports, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Minimum 12+ years of experience including design, construction, and management; Florida experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of design professionals and QA staff on water and wastewater projects.
• Manage water and wastewater conveyance, treatment design, and construction.
• Interact with clients and leadership on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Research wastewater and water resources issues relevant to projects.
• Provide construction phase services and coordination across multiple projects.
• Represent the firm in local civil/environmental/public works groups.
