Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Water or Wastewater Project Manager to oversee engineering design projects related to water infrastructure. With a strong focus on team management and technical leadership, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering and at least 8 years of project management experience. This hybrid role is available at various New England locations, offering an annual salary between $130,000 and $155,000 and a sign-on bonus, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or related Engineering discipline and 8+ years of related water or wastewater design experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain same by reciprocity is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients, staff, subconsultants and contractors through effective leadership.
• Strong understanding of state and federal regulatory framework and experience interacting with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Manages project implementation with assigned project team and follows all company policies.
• Initiates projects by developing proposals/scopes of work and project budgets.
• Supervises and directs individuals or teams of technical staff on projects.
• Consults with other technical staff and Project Managers on technical challenges.
• Oversees the technical accuracy of project through regular communications with project staff.
• Tracks all projects costs versus the project and ensures timely invoice issuance.
