Job summary

Consor seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to plan, design, and deliver essential water infrastructure projects across California, collaborating with managers, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams. Ownership of project delivery, mentorship, and client relationships are emphasized in this role, with flexible remote/hybrid options from CA offices.

The ideal candidate has a BS in an engineering discipline, 4+ years of relevant experience, and a California PE license; AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D software is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cost-effective solutions that meet objectives, schedules, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project tasks, budgets, and timelines.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct analyses, evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations for planning and design.
• Review plans and technical documents for codes and quality procedures.
• Support construction-phase services including RFIs and submittals.
• Collaborate with senior project managers to develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing.
• Mentor junior engineers and expand leadership responsibilities.
