Job summary

Consor is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of essential water infrastructure across California. The role involves collaboration with project managers, regulatory agencies, and clients to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include analyses, design calculations, and coordination through design and construction. Candidates must hold a California PE license and have 4+ years of relevant experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• California PE license.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D familiarity is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, storage facilities, and related systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents for municipal and private-sector clients.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective solutions that meet project objectives, schedules, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project tasks and deliverables, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline expectations are achieved.
• Participate in client meetings and serve as a day-to-day point of contact, helping build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct engineering analyses, evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations to support project planning, design, and implementation.
