Job summary

Consor seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to lead design and delivery of essential California water infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with project managers, technical specialists, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes across treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and distribution systems.

The role offers ownership of project delivery, mentoring opportunities, and a path toward broader project management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• California PE license.
• BS in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• AutoCAD & Civil 3D are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet objectives, schedules and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project tasks, quality, budget, and timelines.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct analyses, evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations.
• Review plans and ensure compliance with codes and procedures.
• Support construction-phase services including RFIs and field visits.
• Collaborate with senior PMs to develop scopes, schedules, and staffing plans.
• Mentor junior engineers and expand technical/project management responsibilities.
