Job summary

Consor is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to lead planning, design and delivery of critical water infrastructure across California. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and regulators to ensure projects meet scope, budget and schedule while mentoring junior staff.

The role offers flexible arrangements (remote, hybrid, in-office) from California locations and a clear path toward leadership in project management and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
• California PE license.
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD & Civil 3D is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare calculations, technical reports, specifications and construction documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet objectives, schedules and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project tasks, budgets and timelines to ensure quality delivery.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Perform engineering analyses, evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations.
• Review plans and documents to ensure codes, standards and QA procedures.
• Support construction-phase services, respond to RFIs and review submittals.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop scopes, schedules and staffing plans.
• Mentor junior engineers and EITs while expanding technical and PM responsibilities.
