Job summary

Clark Water seeks an experienced Construction Executive to lead field operations on water/wastewater projects. You will supervise self-performed and contracted work, ensure compliance with contracts and schedules, and foster a culture of safety and quality across the team.

You will manage project planning, sequencing, and milestones, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and mentor staff while maintaining client relationships and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience on water/wastewater treatment projects.
• Experience leading large dam/reservoir/heavy civil projects preferred.
• 6+ years leading and building high-performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, contracts, equipment, and personnel.
• Ability to lead field operations and communicate plans across diverse audiences.
• Advanced knowledge of safety and building regulations (OSHA).
• Aligns with Clark Standards of Excellence: initiative, accountability, integrity, resilience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise timely and cost-effective installation of project work.
• Implement safety programs and regular safety inspections.
• Lead safety and quality culture among employees and subcontractors.
• Sequence work, manage site logistics, and track materials and personnel.
• Maintain high quality work and project budget adherence.
• Develop and update the project schedule and critical milestones.
• Communicate schedule with contractors and stakeholders; lead multi-disciplinary meetings.
• Mentor and develop team members; build client relationships.
• Represent the company professionally in meetings and interactions.
• Understand owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
• Support closeout activities and KPI monitoring.
