Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager - Water and Wastewater to support its growing national water practice. This role will advance water strategy initiatives nationwide, including due diligence evaluations, source water assessments, discharge strategy development, water reuse planning, and permitting and regulatory compliance for diverse clients across the United States.

You will lead projects from site selection through permitting, construction and startup, coordinate multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in the environmental field, with at least 2 years as a project manager in a consulting environment.
• Professional certification or on track to obtain (e.g.: PE, CHMM).
• Working knowledge of water/wastewater treatment technologies and Federal/state environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support water due diligence, source water assessments, capacity evaluations, and regulatory constraints analyses.
• Develop and implement water sourcing strategies using municipal, groundwater, surface, reclaimed water, and other resources.
• Advance wastewater discharge strategies, including NPDES permitting and water reuse.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on water/wastewater infrastructure planning and utilities interface.
• Provide regulatory guidance on water treatment, wastewater treatment, and cooling water systems.
