Langan is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager - Water and Wastewater to support its growing national water practice. This role will drive water strategy initiatives, due diligence, source water assessments, and regulatory compliance for diverse clients across the United States.

You'll manage water and wastewater projects, coordinate with multidiscipline teams, and provide technical guidance on treatment systems and permitting while advancing client satisfaction and project outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in the environmental field, with at least 2 years as a project manager in a consulting environment.
• Professional certification or on track to obtain (e.g.: PE, CHMM).
• Working knowledge of water/wastewater treatment technologies and applicable federal/state environmental regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, projects and staff; strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented; able to work independently and in a team.

Aufgaben

• Support water due diligence efforts for data center developments and regulatory constraint analyses.
• Develop and implement water sourcing strategies across municipal, groundwater, surface, and reclaimed sources.
• Evaluate and advance wastewater discharge strategies including NPDES permitting and water reuse.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on water and wastewater infrastructure planning and interface design.
• Provide regulatory guidance on water treatment, wastewater treatment, cooling water systems, and water reuse applications.
• Collaborate with utilities, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and client stakeholders.
• Support water strategy development from site selection through permitting, construction, startup, and operations.
• Provide regulatory oversight for Safe Drinking Water Act compliance programs.
