Job summary

Langan International, LLC seeks a Project Engineer/Manager - Water and Wastewater to support its growing national water practice. You will contribute to due diligence, water supply strategy development, source water assessments, and discharge strategy planning for diverse industrial clients across the United States.

Responsibilities include coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, guiding regulatory compliance, and supporting project lifecycle from site selection to startup, while leading

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in the environmental field, with a minimum of 2 years as a project manager in a consulting environment.
• Professional certification or on track to obtain (e.g., PE, CHMM).

Responsibilities

• Support water due diligence for data center developments, including source water availability assessments and regulatory constraints analyses.
• Develop water sourcing strategies utilizing municipal, groundwater, surface water, and reclaimed water resources.
• Evaluate and advance wastewater discharge strategies, including NPDES permitting and water reuse.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on water and wastewater infrastructure planning and utility interface design.
• Provide regulatory oversight for Safe Drinking Water Act compliance programs for utilities and industrial clients.
