Langan is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager - Water and Wastewater to support its growing national water practice. This role focuses on due diligence, water supply strategy development, source water assessments, discharge strategy development, water reuse planning, and permitting/compliance for clients across the United States.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in the environmental field with at least 2 years as a project manager in a consulting environment.
• Professional certification or on track to obtain (e.g.: PE, CHMM).

Responsabilidades

• Support water due diligence for data center developments incl. source water availability assessments and regulatory constraints analyses.
• Develop water sourcing strategies using municipal, groundwater, surface water, reclaimed water, and other resources.
• Advance wastewater discharge strategies including NPDES permitting and water reuse.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on water and wastewater infrastructure planning and utility interface design.
• Provide technical and regulatory guidance on water treatment, cooling systems, and water reuse applications.
• Collaborate with utilities, municipalities, regulators, and clients to navigate permitting challenges.
• Support water strategy development through project lifecycle from site selection to startup.
• Provide regulatory oversight for Safe Drinking Water Act compliance programs.
• Support NOVs responses, enforcement negotiations, and inspections.
• Assist treatability studies, system upgrades, and optimization of treatment systems.
• Offer innovative engineering solutions for emerging contaminant treatment.
• Assist with proposals, scopes, and budgeting.
• Manage project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, invoicing, and change management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across offices for integrated water and environmental solutions.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, regulators, contractors, and attorneys.
• Collaborate across teams nationwide.
