Langan is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager - Water and Wastewater to support its growing national water practice. This role will help drive water strategy initiatives nationwide, including due diligence evaluations, water supply strategy development, source water assessments, and water reuse planning for mission critical clients across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in the environmental field, with a minimum of 2 years working as a project manager in a consulting environment.

Responsabilités

• Support water due diligence efforts for data center developments and source water assessments.
• Develop and implement water sourcing strategies across municipal, groundwater, surface water, and recycled water resources.
• Evaluate wastewater discharge strategies including NPDES permitting and water reuse.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on water and wastewater infrastructure planning and utility interface design.
• Provide regulatory guidance on water treatment, wastewater treatment, and water reuse applications.
• Collaborate with utilities, municipalities, regulators, and clients to navigate permitting challenges.
• Support water strategy development from site selection through permitting, construction, startup, and operations.
• Provide regulatory oversight for Safe Drinking Water Act compliance programs.
